Synopsis Ip Man 4 The Finale Odeon
Set In 1964, once the death of his wife, Ip Man discovers he has throat cancer due to smoking. After his lawless son Ip Ching fights support neighboring a bully, he gets expelled, and Ip decides to travel to San Francisco, united States to see for a school. His student, Bruce Lee, has smash up the local martial arts community in San Francisco by start a Wing Chun school, teaching the Americans martial arts and writing an English language photograph album upon martial arts.[5] He discovers from an partner and his friend, Liang Gen, that a referral letter from the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent membership is needed to enroll into a school. Wan, the president of the Association, refuses to write the letter as Ip does not inherit once the grandmasters' opinions upon Lee's actions. After a brief battle once Wan, he leaves.

The battle is disrupted by an earthquake, and Wan tells Ip they will finish their battle at the upcoming Mid Autumn Festival. Ip refuses, explaining that he merely escorted his daughter home for her safety, and leaves. Becky complains to her parents that she had been bullied. Her daddy Walters, who is an commissioner of the Immigration and Naturalization Service, is pressured into holding the membership responsible and deporting every Chinese united once them. Meanwhile, Hartman, a Staff Sergeant in the united States Marines, attempts to persuade Barton Geddes, the Gunnery Sergeant, to incorporate Chinese martial arts into their hand-to-hand act training. Geddes proves that the Marines' current Karate training is forward-thinking by asking him to battle the Marines' Karate instructor, Colin Frater, who defeats Hartman. Hartman forward-thinking manages to persuade the Commanding commissioner about proceed so, and is instructed to film the Mid Autumn Festival taking place at the membership for research, which upsets Geddes.
Geddes asks Frater to challenge the Grandmasters at the Festival, defeating a few of them until Ip interferes and defeats him. Meanwhile Wan, who was supposed to be gift at the festival, is arrested by the immigration officers. upon seeing Frater defeated, Geddes barges into the membership to find out where Wan is kept, and defeats everyone there. He subsequently threatens Walters to release Wan into the Marines' custody since bringing Wan into the camp to battle him. Due to a tip-off by a student of Lee, the membership is left empty by the time the immigration officers act the place. Lee provides refuge for the Association, earning their respect. Wan is seriously disrespected from the battle once Geddes. Ip, filled once emotions, finally reveals to his son that he has cancer, which finally allows him to talk to his daddy on top of the phone after many attempts by Ip. Ip is brought into the Marines' camp by Hartman, and defeats Geddes in a fight. Wan has already prepared the letter for Ip, but the latter said that he does not object to have an effect on to San Francisco as he does not once the place. Ip reconciles once his son. A strong but tired Ip instructs his son to film him as he demonstrates Wing Chun upon the wooden dummy. Ip succumbs to his cancer, and it is revealed in the epilogue that the Marines had officially incorporated Chinese martial arts into their routine in 2001.
